Sun International has a variety of requirements. These will differ slightly with each field available. There is, however, some similarities to most of their internships. These are as follow:
- Applicants must have a Matric certification
- Applicants must be computer literate
- Applicants must have a firm grasp of the English language, verbally and written
- Applicants must either be in their second or third year of study or postgraduate
- Applicants must be detail orientated
- Applicants must be a South African by birth
- Applicants must hold a valid ID document
- Applicants must be able to function well as part of a team and individually
- Applicants must be presentable and professional
- Applicants must be able to handle pressure
- Applicants must have a passion for learning
- Applicants must be able to solve problems
- Applicants must be service and client orientated
- Applicants must accept responsibility
