1. LEANERSHIP

 A learnership is a structured learning programme which includes (30%) theoretical and (70%) practical workplace experiential learning over a period of 12 months. Learners will be expected to sign a learnership agreement with certificates awarded only upon successful completion of the full twelve months. A refund policy will be implemented for learners who withdraw during the programme.

Minimum Requirements

The consideration will be given to candidates with at least one of the following minimum requirements from a recognised training institution(s):

 

  • The candidates MUST be in possession Grade 12 and obtained Level 3 in either Information Technology (IT) or Computer Applications (CAT) Technology
  • The candidates MUST be in possession Grade 12 and NQF Level 3 qualification in End user Computing

 A skills programme is a unit standard or combination of unit standards that leads to an employable skill, and earns a credit on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) towards a qualification. Skills programmes are compiled by employers or providers once a need for a particular skill has been identified. These programmes are registered with the SETA
